Alaska Autism Summer Institute June 7th-11th 2010
This years Summer Institute offers two training tracks:
1) Early Intervention services for young children experiencing Autism Spectrum Disorder
2) Transition to Adulthood for Secondary Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders
We welcome back Linda Heitzman-Powell, PhD, BCBA who will present a hands on course detailing evidence based practices for working with young children who are experiencing Autism.
Dr. Carol Schallwill be presenting information on the transition to adulthood and how to assist individuals with ASD with learning how to gain and maintain community based employment.
Both speakers are leaders in the Autism community and offer a great opportunity to expand your capabilities when working with families experiencing Autism. This opportunity is offered free of charge with CUE’s available through the University
